LED Backed Sign

My employer’s old building sign had long since been taken down and replaced, and the old one wandered from office to office until it found its way behind the desk of my officemate.  I have a bit of an LED problem, so I decided to hang it and light it up.  It’s controlled by an IR remote and has a $5 RGB LED strip (5 meter) glued to its back.

I made standoff legs from leftover non-metallic conduit, keeping it out from the wall and allowing the aura to shine.

It slowly fades through the spectrum and has been quite popular.  I do wish I could install an outlet behind the sign to hide the cord..
